The Art of the Chronograph arrives to California
After Dresden, Stuttgart, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Chicago, and New York, Glashütte Original brings “The Art of the Chronograph” exhibition to the upscale South Coast Plaza, the largest mall on the West Coast. Held in front of the Swatch Group’s multi-brand Tourbillon Boutique, the exhibition is part of a world tour celebrating the launch of the new Calibre 37 Chronograph.
The exhibition features a collection of vintage and contemporary pieces made in the German town of Glashütte over the past 170 years. Of course, the centerpiece of the exhibition is the automatic Calibre 37, a chronograph unveiled at Baselworld 2014, featuring several innovative solutions, such as the switch lever comprised of only one part, assuring a high degree of switching security, or the new oscillation system with low energy that results in 70 hours of power reserve with a single spring barrel.
The exhibition will run outside the Tourbillon Boutique at South Coast Plaza, in Costa Mesa, for two weeks from June 9 to 22, 2015.
