The Fastrider collection is the result of a cross-disciplinary approach to design, combining Swiss watchmaking with the world of Italian sport motorbikes. Initially introduced in 2011, one of the most memorable models of the Fastrider line was the 2013 Black Shield, with its matt black ceramic middle case. The collaboration between Tudor and Ducati did not stop here, it also extended to the customization of a Ducati Diavel using the same design language.

In 2015, a new Ducati – the XDiavel – has inspired TUDOR to create a new edition of its all-ceramic chronograph. With the impressively XDiavel motorbike calling for a relaxed, feet-forward riding position, Ducati enters the cruiser category.

This generally comprises models with large displacement engines, often serving as the basis for customized versions in motorbike culture and exuding an unmistakable aura of great strength and inimitable style. The XDiavel is all that in a total black look, along with that little extra touch of elegance that only the legendary Italian manufacturer could give.

With its matt black dial punctuated by white hour-markers and numerals, a white luminescent material, a white chronograph seconds hand, white chronograph totalizer and small-seconds hands, this chronograph enables at-a-glance readings that are ideal when at the controls of a powerful motorcycle.

The 42 mm scratch-proof matt ceramic case is equipped with screw-down crown and pushers made of black PVD-treated steel. It is water resistant up to 150 meters. Its angular yet sculpted contours echo the streamlined body-work of a superbike.

Under the dial, you’ll find the TUDOR calibre 7753 automatic chronograph, with an autonomy of 46 hours. It comes on a black leather or a sporty black rubber strap with folding clasp.

As a graphic designer, I'm fascinated by the crossroads between technology and aesthetics. Horology is one of these crafts, where art and engineering come together to produce mechanical wonders that grace the eye. WatchPaper was born from the desire to create an online tool where I can share my passion for watches.
