Introducing the Longines Flagship Heritage 60th Anniversary
1957 is key milestones of the history of Longies, remembered as the year when they launched the elegant Flagship collection, featuring a caravel stamped on its back. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the collection, Longines is introducing the limited edition Flagship Heritage – 60th Anniversary 1957-2017 that will be available in steel, yellow gold or rose gold.
The design of the anniversary timepiece was inspired by a Flagship model picked by the Longines ambassador, Kate Winslet, during her visit to the Longines HQ.
The brushed silver dial, with its diamond-shaped yellow gold or rose gold indexes and dauphine hands, in its clever simplicity oozes a certain nobility. Here is a watch (another one) that I would love to wear, but as we know, the Flagship is a collection targeting the fairer sex. The good news is that the Flagship Heritage – 60th Anniversary has a 38.5 mm case which makes it a great choice even for guys.
There is no word yet on the price and availability as this is a Pre-Baselworld release, as soon as we know something, we will update this story.
