Malbourne Watch Company is taking preorders for their upcoming model, the 36 mm Parkville

In less than a year, Melbourne Watch Company became a household name among fans and collectors of micro-brands. Parkville, their latest project, was created in response to customer feedback requesting a smaller midsize model that would appeal to both men and women, while maintaining the style and the quality, associated with the brand.

In keeping with their mission to celebrate a piece of Melbourne in each design, the case-back engraving features the historic ‘W-Class’ tram, a cultural icon to Melbourne.

For reference, the specs for the Parkville are as follows:

Case – 36mm 316L Stainless Steel, PVD Rose Gold Plating optional. 11mm thickness.
Movement – Seiko NH35A automatic
Crystal – Flat Sapphire
Dial – Multi-layered with rosetta spiral guilloche centre pattern

Perviously, Melbourne Watch Company would launch their models trough a crowd-funding website, but this time, they wish to circumvent that by taking preorders directly on their website. Pricing for the pre-orders starts at $379AUD for the plain steel version and $389AUD for the rose gold plated version.

The Parkville is already in production and will be released in November with an MSRP of $479AUD and $489AUD respectively.
