Longines DolceVita (Ref. L5.258.5.79.7)

Longines, in its gallantry, started its pre-Basel teasing with the announcement of several new DolceVita models that this year, are embellished with rose gold accents.

The DolceVita collection is Longines’ interpretation of the classic rectangular watch, an elegant shape that will never lose its noble elegance. The 2016 DolceVita watches come with a rose gold crown, steel and rose gold bracelet and a touch of gold on the dial.

The silver coloured dial is decorated with an elaborate flinqué model with painted roman numerals and blued hands.

Longines is offering four different sizes and there are also variations set with diamonds. No winding necessary, they are powered by quartz movements.

Here is a collection worthy of a very special woman, as Fellini would put it in his 1960 masterpiece, the Dolce Vita: “You are the first woman on the first day of creation. You are mother, sister, lover, friend, angel, devil, earth, home.”
